Allen Stempel:
Bio
Allen was born and raised in the Helderberg Mountains. Springing
from hearty folk, he is equally as comfortable with a chainsaw as
with a welder.
Spending his formative years in and around a rustic family sawmill
he was surrounded by sawdust and old rusty implements. His work as
an arborist kept him close to wood and tools of various shapes and
sizes. He started welding bits and bobs of things together into
metal creatures, flowers, and abstract sculptures in his free time.
Artistically, he draws inspiration from the world around him and
pulls designs out of the alloys themselves.
