Hope Konecny: Artist Statement & Bio
Art has always been my passion and I have explored art through many
mediums including jewelry, sculpture, painting, pyrography, pottery,
and multimedia assemblages. My skills from one medium flow to
another and art for me is like aesthetic problem solving. It can be
a challenge, both physically and mentally, however I see myself as a
life-long student and I need to be challenged during the creative
process to keep me motivated and inspired. I consider being an
artist a privilege, as it gives me the opportunity to express myself
in a multitude of ways.EDUCATION
