Steven Rolf Kroeger: Bio & Statement
Steven holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Sculpture Emphasis
(Magna Cum Laude) from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
In addition, he has a Master of Fine Arts from the State University
of New York at Albany NY. 2010 saw Steven commissioned by the
Albany-Tula Alliance, to create a Commemorative Sculpture, for
permanent display in Albany.
In addition, Steven was hosted at The Hyde Collection, Glens Falls,
NY. Steven participated in the 27th Annual Outdoor Sculpture Show,
in Brooklyn Bridge State Park, Brooklyn, NY in 2009. An additional
commission from the City of Albany called Night Fire was an integral
part of the 2008 Albany Tulip Festival in Washington Park and included
the burning of a large scale windmill to reveal a steel painted
tulip that is part of the City of Albany's permanent collection.
"I have been engaged in working with a variety of metals and metal
fabrication techniques for over 3 decades. Currently, I am accepting
requests for custom metal fabrication work, art and large scale
sculpture commissions and 3rd Party Fabrication work."
